July 8 to July 11, 2015, Professor Fengrong Wang and Doctor Miao Miao attended Asia-Pacific Economic Association conference at Taiwan University. Professor Wang presented their joint paper “Tax Competition, Regional Environment and Inter-regional Capital Flow”. This paper aims to examine the factors and mechanism of inter-regional capital flow from the perspective of tax competition. Experts and scholars took active parts in discussion and provided constructive comments.

APEA conference was launched by Shin-ichi Fukuda, Chung Mo Koo, Jeff Chien-Fu Lin and Kar-yiu Wong at close session of “Asian Financial Crisis” meeting in Chuncheon on December 10, 2003. And it has been successfully held ten times in America, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Hongkong(China). This year is the 11th conference and next year’s conference will be held in Kolkata, India from July13 to July15, 2016.
