The summer school of the Center for Economic Research, was held from July 11^th ,2017 to August 7^th,2017.

On July 11^th , Dean Shaoan Huang of CER firstly made an opening speech and then gave a lecture about how to use the way of history and reality to solve the economic issue. In the afternoon, Professor Yanbin Chen gave the lecture titled “The development and reflection of macroeconomics”. On July 12^th, Professor Huihua Nie made the lecture about “From conspire to cooperation between government and enterprise”. On July 13^th, Dr. Naijing Huang got the lecture titled" Topics in identification and inference for macro-econometric models ”.In the afternoon, Dr. Yicheng Wang delivered the lecture about “The influence of financial friction in macroeconomics ”.On July 14^th, Professor Yinggang Zhou made the lecture titled “Efficiency, interaction and risk: evidence and implications from China and international financial markets”. From July 17^th to July 19^th, a series of lectures were given by Professor Liyan Yang titled “Financial market with information frictions”. From July 20^th to July 23^th , Professor Xiaodong Huang made the lecture about “Frontiers of macroeconomics and applications to China”. In the afternoon of July 23^th, the lecture about “The rainbow of credit: same-sex mortgage discrimination and two-sided spillover effect” was delivered by Dr. Lei Gao. On July 24^th, Dr. Ce Shi gave the lecture about" Topics in empirical industrial organization”. On July 25^th, the lecture titled" The institutional basis for China's economic growth” was made by Professor Zheng Song. From July 26^th to July 27^th, Professor Jinqiang Yang had the lecture titled" Dynamic investment and pricing”. On July 28^th, Professor Zhiwu Chen gave the lecture about "From the non-economic perspective to study the crisis tolerance”. From July 29^th to July 30^th, Professor Chengliang Yan gave the lecture titled" Fiscal policy and monetary policy in economic growth”. On July 31^th, Professor Lian Zhou delivered the lecture about" Chinese political economy: retrospect and prospect”. From August 1^th to August 3^th, a series of lectures were given by Professor Jingwei Sun about the application of game theory in political economy. From August 5^th to August 7^th, teachers of CER brought up the latest research findings in their fields.
