Changhong Pei, Director of Institute of Economics Chinese Academy of Social Sciences delivered a speech on the topic of “Challenges and opportunities of a new round of China's opening-up” at Shandong University on Oct. 20,2013.

Researcher Changhong Pei discussed the challenges and opportunities of a new round of China's opening up relating to the issue of the set up of Shanghai free trade zone. He firstly presented the objective of the set up of Shanghai free trade zone. Then he introduced the duty of Shanghai pilot free trade zone and development status in recent months. Finally, He analyzed some problems of pilot free trade zone, such as how to determine foreign-owned enterprises, how to foster a system of credibility and integrity in enterprises.
